The 2021 Mazda CX-30 will have a new turbo engine available. It is a 2.5-liter SKYACTIV®-G Turbo engine that has two different outputs depending on the fuel that is chosen. If 87 octane fuel is used, then the outputs will be 227 for horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. On the other hand, if 93 octane fuel is used, then the outputs will be 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. These are impressive outputs for a crossover!
In addition, the engine that was in the 2020 Mazda CX-30 will also be carried over into the 2021 model year crossover. It is a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5 DOHC 4-cylinder engine that produces 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. Again, this is a great engine option available for a crossover.
